Wedding photography terms and Conditions

Images remain the formal property of Aaron Parker Photography, clients agree to permanently licensing the work as is standard under the NZIPP terms and conditions. The terms of license is for personal use only. This allows clients to share and reprint images as and when they choose indefinitely. Styling of images is Aaron Parker photography’s precious work and is non-refundable based on style.
Clients Usage
No use of Aaron Parker images for corporate promotional purposes is allowed. Clients are allowed to upload completed works of Aaron Parker photography to their private social media sites with artistic rights (tags) attributed to Aaron Parker Photography. Clients may not on-sell the images to any third party. Images may be added to Aaron Parker Photography’s professional portfolio and used on social media websites; Instagram and Facebook by Aaron Parker Photography unless expressly denied by clients prior to the signing of the contract.
Additions
Should additional photography and/or travel time, that is not included in the agreed package, be requested by the Client ,it will be charged out at the rates specified in the Wedding Package, rounded to the nearest half hour.
Digital Negatives
No raw (unprocessed) images will be delivered. The images that we shoot are only half of our delivery, the post-processing is the other half. The full image, shot and edited is what makes up our style and delivery and as such, no images that have not been edited and styled by Aaron Parker Photography will be accessible for clients. Pricing includes digital images only, no physical prints are included in packages.
Storage and Backups
The Client acknowledges that the Client is responsible for the storage and backup of the Photographic Works supplied by the Photographer. While the Photographer will follow its usual backup procedures (if any) upon delivery of the Photographic Works, the Photographer shall not be liable under any circumstances if unable to produce backups or future reproductions of the Photographic Works upon the request of the Client. Where backups are available, these may be made available to the Client for a fee.
Model Release
The Photographer reserves the right to use images created under this contract for advertising, display, publication or other purposes. The Client hereby grants to the Photographer and its legal representatives and assigns, the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of the Client and Guests, or in which the Client and Guests may be included. The Client hereby releases the Photographer and his legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs.
Co-operation of Guests and Other Service Providers
The Client is responsible for the conduct of their guests. Co-ordination with other service providers is necessary to complete all the photography as scheduled. The Client should share the photography schedule with other service providers to make sure that there are no conflict with times. In addition, events during the wedding day should be planned to make the best use of time for all vendors. The Photographer will not tolerate verbally or physically abusive behaviour, nor will the Photographer share its time or compete with guest photographers for the attention of the subjects. Unchecked guest conduct that interferes with photography will seriously affect the quality of the photographs taken and increase the number of photos that must be created. If the Client is unable to control the conduct of their guests or if the conduct of any of their guests damages any of the equipment of the Photographer, it will result in the early or immediate departure of the Photographer. The Client understands that in such an event, no refund will be given.
Completion Schedule
The Client agrees that no part of the Event Package, including previews (if any) will be delivered until the Outstanding Balance is paid in full. Digital processing takes approximately 4 weeks, and possibly longer when schedules are heavy. During busy summer season processing will take up to 10 weeks.
Payments
Booking deposit is non-refundable: Upon payment of the deposit/retainer you have agreed to the terms and conditions of this contract and the photographer then reserves the specific time and date agreed upon. Even if the wedding date is changed or cancelled for any reason, there shall be NO refund of any payment made. Client is aware that the photographer is blocking off the particular date in question therefore turning away any other potential work on that date so no refund is permitted. Date change is acceptable only if the proposed changed date is available for Aaron Parker Photography and within the 12 month period of initial booking. If a date change is agreed upon, the same price cannot be guaranteed as the client is re-booking at current package costs.
Limit of Liability
If Aaron Parker Photography can no longer keep the booking, full deposit will be returned and alternative available photographers will be suggested. Aaron Parker Photography will do everything possible to capture all key moments however may not be held responsible for missing images due to guests and other vendors interference. A wedding is an uncontrolled event, though we will always aim to deliver exceptional images of your day, specific images cannot be guaranteed. We cannot be held responsible for missed shots when the schedule runs late, or insufficient time is allocated for photography. Furthermore, if guests or other wedding vendors are limiting our ability to fully document the wedding, either by attempting to take their own photo’s, direct you and the bridal party (with the exception of professional videographers), include themselves in the images or in any other way, we cannot be held responsible for shots missed or compromised due to their interference.
